Susan Schmitt LCSW is a member of the largest group of mental health service providers, in the United States. She has been certified as a BCD in clinical social work, a national credential issued to advanced practitioners. The BCD designation requires an annual recertification process based on the attainment of specified levels of continuing education, currency of practice and maintenance of state licensure in good standing. Susan has a clinical practice in psychotherapy in the greater Roxbury New Jersey area. She provides counseling services to individuals, couples and their families.
Susan attended the distinguished New York University Washington Square Campus which is known for it's direct practice clinical program. Her training entailed working with a wide range culturally diverse population in multiple practice settings. She has specialized skills and is a reflective relationship-centered practioner. Susan has a passion for helping people with their personal problems and a special interest in the mind body connection.
